when will this ringing stop?!
current music: bloc party - banquet.
last night saw me attend my 2nd gig of limehouse lizzy. i went up chars at 5ish and we started drinking there as the tickets said 'strictly 18 and over' or something like that.
there ended up being 13 of us going.
me, cray, mox, char, leah, lucy, amy, laura, anna (char's sis), kate (anna's mate), carla (anna's mate), luke (char's bro) and dave (char's dad). the mini-bus journey there was funny and very shouty. many chants of "we're from Coleford, and Brewers is our place..." were heard.
we arrived at 7.30 but it didnt open til 8 so we popped in the pub next door for a bit. 8 came in no time.
we were unsure we'd get in because it said 'strictly 18 and over' on the ticket. but we did with minimal fuss. i did pretty much what i did last time and got to the front and stayed there for the whole set. it was pretty good but for some reason i didnt enjoy it quite as much as the other; but it was still good if that makes sense. we got back in the mini-bus and headed for "Miss Millie's" to have a munch out. it was funny when we were in there, leah was acting a fool and calling one of the servers miss milly. funnier if you were there methinks...
anyway we voyaged home and it was a more subdued atmosphere than the journey there. everyone was shattered. got home about 1am. my ears were ringing like buggery cos i spent the whole night stood/attempting to dance next to a speaker.
woke up and the ringing is still in my ears. which is a little annoying.
didnt go to school because i was too tired and felt a bit rough.
pretty much it.
oh there was a woman performing an acoustic set before limehouse came out to play and i kept shouting 'i wanna bum you' (i was pished and hyper!) and she heard -_- and smiled ^_^
id say it was well worth going but i feel a bit weird. char's dad paid for everyone to go and the mini-bus hire. (about 200 quid altogether). i might get him a thank you card and put some money in it as he wouldnt accept any last night.
im off to rid this ringing from my ears (its not helping listening to music!)
